Postal by Uwe Boll Viral

Well, the game was funnily atrocious, this teaser is not really funny, the trailer is even worse. On Imdb though, they say it’s a funny unconventional movie. Here’s the trailer and the teaser:

This commercial had a huge success in Italy in the last year. It had some censorship problems (a farting squirrel is against something? we are Italy, everything is always againstĀ  something).

I think I had enough of those commercials made to be funny at any cost. Also, why should a chewing gum be good if it makes you fart? I wouldn’t lke it!

They did not spend money well this time, this commercial is too far from Coca Cola’s old ads, not really nice to see. It really didn’t impress me.

I really love the Grand Theft Auto style one of 2007 though

Very interesting how Speechless campaign is developing: this video, for example, starts like a black and white, Sundance style short movie, ends like an ‘80 lesbo porn with slap bass and Shafty music (I made this one up). The girls, though, are very funny talking about the Hollywood-writers strike into an orgy. Maggie Gyllehall is in too. WIll become and instant Youtube cult.

Gilbert Arenas Commercial

I really like this commercial, good simple animations. The heroic struggle of basketball it’s all in there.

The Water Horse is a Japanese “Loch Ness style” new movie, about a sea monster. In a way, similar to Cloverfield (unconventional ways of promoting a movie), in others light years away from it (simpler ideas).
Still, they created a water hologram of the monster in Tokyo bay. Really interesting, really technological. Very Japanese, indeed.

MacBook Air commercial

Ok, Apple always gets me. Now I really want one.

About the commercial, as usual very simple things, very clear, very Apple, very effective:

Genial, nothing more to say about Cloverfield. A few tv reports were made in different languages to cover the implosion of the Tagruato’s oil platform. That looks so smart! And so real somehow, they created a whole world around the movie, can’t wait to see it.

Here’s the English version

Here’s the Italian, slightly different, and they’re talking about some ambientalist movements as a cause of the disaster:

I always thought it would be great to use this artists for a commercial. Today I discovered someone already did, and they did it right…

This is the BMW commercial for this amazing, genial artist, who works with the wind to create those magical machines.

This is a more accurate showcase of his works

I think is basically self explanatory

i discovered this thanks to La Casalinga di Voghera
