Amazing idea for Moray McLaren music video. Not stop motion. Just some old technology used in the perfect way: creatively. Lo fi concepts can always create this toy-alike effect that is lovely.

In an Apatow World

I kind of like College Humor. Sometimes the jokes are too american-related to be understood by a poor European like me. This song is good, and it’s kind of catchy. Funny how having fun of an author like Judd Apatow, who basically always writes, produces or directs the same kind of movies, with the same kind of actors and the same kind of weird dirty humor. Funny People, new Apatow movie, is out this summer.

Simple and true. Everyone likes super commercial songs from time to time. My Britney’s fave is “Toxic”. But I’m not a metal guy.
Scrabble: The Beautiful Word.

Scrabble created a beautiful ad, without many ideas in it, except for one and basic: words are music, music is images, images are words. Fair enough. Funny how is possible to read the brief on the youtube page of the video. From Ogilvy, Paris.
The Brief : Scrabble is a standard board [...]
Samsung HD camera trick challenge. Viral made viral.

This is how to create a great viral, with basically no money. At the same time, showcase the qualities of the product, Samsung I8910 HD phone, but not too much, so you don’t sound annoying.
Then, take a statemente like: “Not altered or edited in any way (honestly)”. Put it on Youtube. Challenge the audience to [...]

My work for Grist competition on Zooppa. Didn’t win anything. Any comments, critics, insults are welcome.
Introducing “A very nice can”:
Everything is badly made by myself. Ad-hoc music from my one-man-band, the super lo-fi Sweet Adeline.
It’s so sterile! Mapple and the Simpsons. Get exactly what you want from a parody.

Having fun of Apple user (even if not as satisfying as having fun of Microsoft users) is a great trend in web 2.0 world. Fanboys fight, commercials compareĀ one to another (and the product is the person, not the computer), and parodies are made. The Simpson, even in the middle of thetragic decline of the [...]

Great viral for 2012 the movie, another catastrophic joint by Roland Emmerich. Woody Harrelson here is playing the crazy “I told you” guy every movie of this kind should have. Nice how Twitter has been integrated, aswell with a website, ThisIsTheEnd.com. And incredible how people still believe all this Maya calendar bullshit.
Compliments to Emmerich for [...]

I love Fallon works, but I really don’t get this. Is it supposed to be funny? scary? viral? maybe virally works, but surely will haunt my dreams forever.

You count the stars, listen to Lil’ Wayne and…probably don’t get what the product is. Call it emotional advertising.
