I kind of like College Humor. Sometimes the jokes are too american-related to be understood by a poor European like me. This song is good, and it’s kind of catchy. Funny how having fun of an author like Judd Apatow, who basically always writes, produces or directs the same kind of movies, with the same kind of actors and the same kind of weird dirty humor. Funny People, new Apatow movie, is out this summer.

I’d like to start here a new category in my blog: personal commercials from crappy (let’s say: not superstars) NBA players in the last years. Peja Stojakovic has been a good role player, good shooter, not crapppy at all. Bench player, though.
This one, 2005, is making jokes about the different shoes sizes between Europe and [...]

Having fun of Apple user (even if not as satisfying as having fun of Microsoft users) is a great trend in web 2.0 world. Fanboys fight, commercials compare one to another (and the product is the person, not the computer), and parodies are made. The Simpson, even in the middle of thetragic decline of the [...]

Very interesting how Speechless campaign is developing: this video, for example, starts like a black and white, Sundance style short movie, ends like an ‘80 lesbo porn with slap bass and Shafty music (I made this one up). The girls, though, are very funny talking about the Hollywood-writers strike into an orgy. Maggie Gyllehall is [...]

I love Gondry’s style, from his movies (Human Nature, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, The Science of Dreams, the upcoming Be Kind Rewind) to his music videos, even if I prefer kids like Spike Jonze and Chris Cunningham. His commercials are great, I was very impressed by this Motorola one and by his HP [...]
